MINISTRY HIGHLIGHT: New Life Church (Endicott, New York)

During a time New Life Church (Endicott, New York) was growing, but cash was tight, an inspection revealed the need for a new roof. In fact, the roof was described as a catastrophic failure. But what started as a dire situation turned out to be an opportunity to see how God would provide.

With immediate action needed, the church was concerned about lining up financing in time. Since they already had a loan with FM Financials’ Free Methodist Investment and Loan Fund, they contacted us to see if we could restructure the loan and add the roofing cost to it. The answer was YES! But God was just getting started …

A contractor who previously attended the church agreed to do the job. The budget was tight with little room for overruns that commonly occur in an extensive construction project. To the church’s delight, the contractor found he could use a different process that cost much less, but yielded the same results. The church was able to use the savings to address two other urgent projects – their parking lot and HVAC.

Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen. Ephesians 3:20-21
