Chris DeBacker is the Vice President for Estate and Gift Planning and has been with FM Financial since 2002. He assists clients by helping them understand which estate planning documents are appropriate to help them accomplish their life goals. He also assists donors with tax-wise gift strategies. He graduated from Spring Arbor University and is a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®), Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®), and Certified Gift Planning Professional (CGPP). Chris lives in Spring Arbor, Michigan, and has four adult daughters.
Tim Lyons began working at FM Financial in 2023 as the Estate Planning Assistant. He has a passion for helping clients find peace of mind through their estate plan. Tim graduated from the University of Toledo with a degree in Mathematics and currently lives in Jackson, Michigan with his wife and son. You can find Tim on the golf course in the summer and the ski slopes in the winter.
Danette Harper has served at FM Financial since 2000 as a Legal Assistant. She works with attorneys to provide legal documents to our clients for estate planning and gifting purposes. She is also our Communications Manager. Danette is an honor graduate of Spring Arbor University and resides in Spring Arbor, Michigan, with her husband, Wes. Her ideal day would be spent at the beach with a good book.
